If you are using our service for a federal facility, these e-mails are probably of less use to you since the inmates are only allowed 300 minutes. However, some customers sign up for service on a date that does not match up with the inmate's renewal at the prison. In this case there can be some overlap and the e-mails can alert you to that overlap so that you can add additional funds to cover it.
Month-to-month calling plan customers
If you are a month-to-month calling plan customer, please keep in mind that your monthly renewal includes $2.99 for the cost of your phone number. When you make your monthly payment you are paying $2.99 for the phone number and $15.00 for 300 minutes of service for a total of $17.99.
If you are set up for automatic bill payment you are charged $17.99. $2.99 is used to cover the cost of the phone number and the remaining $15.00 is applied to your balance to cover your 300 minutes of talk time.
If you are not set for automatic bill payment, $2.99 will automatically be deducted from your account balance to cover the cost of your phone number each month. Any remaining funds will be used toward the actual talk time. This allows you to make payment at a time that is convenient for yourself without having to worry about a break in inmate calling.
We reserve the right to close all accounts that remain inactive for a period of 30 days or more. If you need your account, but expect it to be inactive for longer than 30 days, please contact us to let us know. As long as the account has a positive balance we can keep it open longer with proper notice.
Important Note: After adding funds to your account, please, do not click the back button or refresh the page. Doing so can result in duplicate payments. If you wish to view your balance after making a payment please logout and log back in again.
