Blocked Call Resolution
Calls from a correctional facility may be restricted from your line for the following reasons:
- If there is a call restriction in place with your local telephone company, it may prevent you from getting your calls from the correctional facility. It is necessary to call your local telephone company to have this restriction removed. Once the restriction is removed, it may take up to 72 hours for an inmate telephone call to go through.
- If you have a new telephone number, or if there have been any recent changes made to your telephone service such as, a temporary disconnect, changes in your telephone features such as call waiting, area code change, etc... this could put a restriction on your line. Again, please allow 72 hours from the time your number was activated, or from the time the changes were made, for your collect calls to begin coming through.
- If you have been able to receive inmate phone calls from the facility in the past , it may be that you have exceeded your payment verification point with the service provider. If you believe this is the case, please contact the customer service department of the jail or prison telephone service provider for additional information.
- If you have a prepaid collect call account, please be advised the balance may not reflect calls that have been accepted within the last 24 hours. Calls are allowed based on your account balance so it is possible for calls to be allowed when funds are not available. If the full balance is used and more inmate calls were accepted than available funds, a prepay overage can occur causing a balance owed on the account.
